Vittorio Pitzalis

Vittorio Pitzalis is one of Sardinia’s most brilliant bluesmen, for years very active on the national concert circuit. In 1994 he won first place at the Narcao Blues Festival and then in 1996, the contest organized by the Festival “On the Border Between Sardinia and Jazz – the Southwest Sardinian Festival”. These important achievements allowed Vittorio to participate that same year in the Rocce Rosse Blues Festival in Ogliastra (opening for John Mayall) and to play on the historic Tuscan stage of the Pistoia Blues Festival. In 2000, Vittorio opened the show in Cagliari for Robert Plant and in 2003 he was at the top of the podium for the Blues from Sardinia contest. Vittorio has also played at the Roots and Blues Food Festival in Parma in 2006 e 2009. “Jimi James” is his first album, published in 2017 on the MGJR Records label.
